As a furry, I commission a fair amount of artwork. I'm using this space to showcase some of my favorites! Each piece features the artist's name and a link to their website, along with some of my ramblings about the art itself. Note that these are commissions from other artists, I did not create any of this art myself!
ARTISTS: please reach out to me if you want your art taken down for any reason, or if you want me to use a different website in the art description! None of this art may be reproduced, hosted elsewhere, or used for LLM training purposes.

I commissioned this piece on a whim when I saw DanCrescentWolf post some an offering for quick commissions to get some practice with a new drawing tool. I was expecting a quick sketch, and this really went above and beyond. I'm a huge fan of this piece, especially the pose and facial expression. Also, not many artists have gotten my hair quite right (as a maned wolf, I want to see a, well, mane). If you interact with me on Mastodon, you'll notice I used a cropped version of this piece as my profile picture (as of 4/26, anyway).

This was a fun piece to commission; I must have referenced half a dozen cheesy images to get the "wrench across the shoulders" pose just right. If you've browsed my infrequent posts here on neocities you've seen some of my automotive projects, and I wanted artwork which reflected that interest (yes, I know it's unlikely you'd use a giant pipe wrench on a car, artistic license, leave me alone). I really enjoy the smug smile as well, another example of a facial expression that brings the character to life!

I was thrilled to get this piece, one of the first commissions I ever got of my maned wolf 'sona. I picked the pose from some advertisement, but Vex really managed to make the pose and expression work. I love the wistful and whimsical feel here, and the subtle butterfly motif in the background. The character details are outstanding too, especially the eyes and the paws. This is probably my favorite piece I've ever commissioned, and not just because I had to wait so long - it's a real work of art and I'd hang it somewhere in my house if I could!
Also Vex, I'm really sorry but I cannot find your website. On the off chance you see this, please give me a website to link to!
Art by Rexyjackal - Website
This was my first commission at my first Vancoufur! I met Rexyjackal in the vendor hall, and commissioned badge art right there in person (which, I have to say is a lot more stressful than you'd imagine; it was annoying to hunt down my references and get those sent over with people in line behind me). I dig the comic-print styling on the main image (all the little dots) and the segmented display style text. Plus, more butterfly iconography!

I commissioned this little looping gif several years ago, back during my transition from pony to furry life (nothing against bronies, but I wish I'd done that sooner). I particularly like the wing flutter and the little tail twitch at the end! You may also see this browsing my neocities page (it's right there on the home page). I've only commissioned a couple animation loops over the years but they're very cool, definitely a different feeling than a static image.

Another badge commission, and the header image for my neocities website (you'll see this one a lot as you navigate around). Disproportionately long legs are one of my favorite features of maned wolves, and this piece really drives that home. Measure those legs and arms and be amazed that this creature doesn't get tangled up in itself (okay, maybe that happens on occasion). I also like the artist's take on the wings here; they're folded down, and I think this is the only piece I have where that's the case.

This was one of my first furry icon commissions, and I still love the style. Very spiky, awesome shading and highlights around the tufts of fur, and the little whiskers are super cute too! The blue eyes really pop against the orange and brown fur.
Sadly this is another artist I don't have a website or contact info for, so please let me know if you have that info!
